Dude, do not say, "He's outta there"! For a second I thought he didn't pull through. Then I noticed the relieved icon at the bottom and made the correct conclusion. That's great! Get better soon Tom!

Leslie, pardon me for posting this here, but I don't have an email address for you. Since I've paid medical claims for a living for thirty years, I have a fair idea of how much all of this is going to cost. If Tom hasn't already done so, I suggest he talk to the hospital social worker and see if s/he has any suggestions about state medicaid benefits to pick up some of the cost. Hospital social workers (before he talks much to the hospital finance people) are very likely to be his friend. They can also maybe help you with the process of getting a disabled placard for the car while he recovers.
