I'm at about the same latitude as Columbus MS; north of the tornado alerts and south of the snow alerts.

All we're getting here is stupid old rain, and occasional distant rumbles of thunder.

This morning drove through a thankfully brief storm with horizontal rain. Right now wind gusting 40-50 MPH outside, small limbs falling, partly cloudy sky. May lose power, which will be unfortunate with a hard freeze due tonight and all our heating electric.

I'm currently hunkered down in SoIll as we are about to get a foot of snow or so. I'll check back in after the storm on the all's clear.
