Uh huh. Power Rangers the Movie? Not seeing anything I need to see in a theater.

To me, "Pacific Rim" still conjures up a vanished Asian fusion restaurant of that name near the Balticon & Darkover hotels. You'd probably have enjoyed their Peking duck fajitas & teriyaki New York strip steak. As a confirmed carbovore, my favorite was the pan-Asian noodle tour: lo mein, udon, & pad thai in 1 entree.

Sadly, it went downhill & finally closed. Sic transit gloria tasty.

Best line, "Today we are canceling the apocalypse!"

This is way too absurd for me not to want to see it. Robot Jox meets kaiju? Yes please.

Looks like Evangelion without all the biblical references. I'm down.

And they got Ellen McLain to lend her voice talents. What's not to like?

I thought I would have to wait a lot longer for the sequel to Cloverfield!
